    1. What is AGLOCO™ all about?
AGLOCO™is the first Internet based economic network, which enables you as a Member to ‘Get your share of the internet.’ Advertisers, search companies, online merchants and other businesses currently pay lots of companies to deliver people like you to them to get your attention and sell goods. With AGLOCO™they will be paying YOU.

AGLOCO™ is also a global community of Internet users whose active Members can be paid for all their online activity. By downloading our proprietary Viewbar™ technology, members benefit from engaging yet unobtrusive content tailored to their interests. AGLOCO™ also pays its members to refer their friends to the community (and for those friends to refer more friends through four levels of extended referrals.) Find out more (see Learn More) »

    2. How do I earn cash and shares?
Sign up, use the web as usual and earn cash and shares – it really is that simple. Once you install the Viewbar™ software it automatically records the time you’re actively online, and we pay you for it. But the first step is to sign up and become a member. It’s fast and it’s free. If you refer your friends and family we’ll pay you even more cash and shares. Visit our Referral Center for helpful tips.

    3. How do referrals work?
AGLOCO™ pays you an hourly rate when the friends and family you recruit (called “direct referrals”) use the web with the Viewbar™ running, as well as for people your referrals recruit (called “extended referrals”). Extended referrals continue for four levels past your original referral, and there is no limit to the number of referrals you can accumulate. Check out our Referral Page for more information.

    4. Are there rules or restrictions?
There are some rules, and all are intended for the benefit of AGLOCO™ members:

    • Sign Up Only Once: Each person can only sign up once, creating an account for him or herself, and may not establish an account on behalf of anyone else. Accounts cannot be transferred between people, and each account must be for a physical person.
    • No spamming: AGLOCO™ strictly forbids spamming to get referrals. This means you can only tell people you know or who explicitly agree to receive your invitation to be referred. If you use spam to try to get referrals, your account will be terminated. For more information, see our Anti-Spam Policy
    • Number of Internet Hours: The maximum number of payable hours per month is currently 5. Over time, depending on several variables that number may change at AGLOCO™ ’s discretion. The reason we implemented this limit is to prevent hacking software from continuously clicking and thereby generating online search. Remember you can still increase your profits by referring more people to AGLOCO™.
    • Active Surfing: You have to actively surf to earn cash for your online usage. Just keeping a website up does not constitute active surfing. If you use a software piracy device that constantly clicks through websites, AGLOCO™ ’s anti-hacking instruments will detect and – after investigation – disconnect your account. In addition, you have to be an active online Member in order to get the benefit of your referrals’ surfing. If you surf only 50% of the maximum payable hours a month, and your referrals each surf 100%, you will be credited with only 50% of the payable surfing time for each referral. See our Global Payments Table for details of payable hours by country.
    • Accuracy of Information: All information submitted during signup must be accurate; members who deal with AGLOCO™ in a fraudulent fashion will forfeit their memberships, their account balance, and their referrals. You will have to accept these terms before signing up and being able to download the Viewbare. See our Membership Agreement for more information.
  • 5. Do I need to buy anything?
No, AGLOCO™ Membership is absolutely free. You will never have to buy or sell anything. Simply sign up, download your free copy of the Viewbar™ software, refer your friends and family, and get your share of the Internet!

    6. Why is AGLOCO™ giving 100% of its stock to its Members?
We believe the internet should be a platform for users to benefit from, and if anyone generates money from users’ normal online activities, it should be the users themselves. Distribution from the company

    7. How will you (the Development Team) make money if all the AGLOCO™ shares are given to Members?
AGLOCO™ pays a 10% fee to its management company, much like Tom Cruise has an agent that he pays 10%. In order to make and keep AGLOCO™ a vibrant community it needs to attract the best management it can. Since no stock is given to managers or founders (only Members are issued stock). This fee serves as an incentive to attract the best talent to help run AGLOCO™.

    8. What is AGLOCO™ ’s Privacy Policy?
AGLOCO™ is totally committed to your privacy. We do not sell, rent or give away your personally identifiable personal information to any marketer or advertiser. We have a detailed Privacy Policy which explains in plain language how we protect your privacy. Read our Privacy Policy »

    9. What will my shares be worth?
As a profit-seeking venture, the value of the shares will be directly related to the value of the company. Since AGLOCO™ ’s profitability is dependent upon its Members’ internet usage, the greater the number of AGLOCO™ Members the more the shares will be worth. We are currently in the process of listing the company on the London Stock Exchange (AIM). As with any public company, the market will decide what is the fair value of the share.

    10. How do I change my personal information?
Go to your profile section to change your information. Don’t forget to click on “Save” to upload your profile

    11. Can I give my cash and shares directly to charity?
Yes, you will be able to give your cash and/or shares directly to the Charity of your choice. AGLOCO™ will also work with select Charities so as to facilitate donations. In addition, The AGLOCO™ Foundation was set up to promote free access to information across the world. The Development Team has agreed to tender the shares they earn as Founding Members to the Foundation.

    12. When can I sell my shares?
Once AGLOCO™ is public, Members will be free to sell their shares through the stock exchange. (see Cash and Shares).

    13. Can I have more than one account?
Membership to AGLOCO™ is limited to one account per physical person. Registering under different names will violate the membership rules, and may lead to cancellation of your account.

    14. How do I invite others?
Go to the referral center (or click here). It will give you detailed information and a step by step approach on how to refer friends to your network.

    15. Why should I invite others?

    17. How can I get more referrals?

No. If someone is already a member, he/she cannot become your referral.

    20. How many referrals can I have?
As many as you can sign up, there is no limit.

    21. Is the AGLOCO™ referral system multi-level marketing?
No. Multi-level marketing involves Members selling products to new Members that they recruit. AGLOCO™ is basically the opposite. No Member ever pays AGLOCO™. Instead, AGLOCO™ gets money from companies (like advertisers, search companies and online merchants) and distributes cash and shares to it Members. See Learn More for more info.

    22. How much do I get paid in my country?
Check out the Global Payment Table for details about each active country.

    23. What does the Viewbar do?
Go to the Viewbar page for more information on how the Viewbar works.

    24. Why can’t I download the viewbar now?
The Viewbar software is currently in closed beta testing (no one is accumulating hours with the beta software). After thorough testing and necessary improvements, it will be released to AGLOCO™ Members on a first come first serve basis (according to the date you signed up to be an AGLOCO™ Member). We are currently allowing our Members full access to the site to build their referral networks. The sooner you sign up, the earlier you will be able to download the Viewbar and start accumulating online hours!

    25. Will it be free to download the viewbar?
Yes, it is completely free to download the viewbar. Depending on the speed of your internet connection, the download time may vary from a few to several minutes.

    26. Do I need to have the Viewbar up all the time?
No! Currently AGLOCO™ will reward up to five hours a month in Viewbar time. Above that limit, you can keep your Viewbar displayed or minimize it at any time, though most of the Members choose to keep it up. If you don’t want your Viewbar to operate at any specific time, just minimize it and it will stop working. However, you will not earn online hours while your Viewbar is minimized.

    27. Will I be able to minimize the viewbar?
Yes! You can minimize the Viewbar any time and it will stop working. However, you will not accumulate any online hours while the Viewbar is minimized.

    28. Can I use more than one computer?
You can install the Viewbar™software on multiple computers and get credit for your surfing regardless of which machine you use. However, you cannot use the Viewbar™ on more than one machine simultaneously. Just download and install the Viewbar™ software on each machine you use to surf the Web.

    29. How do I change my email address?
You can go to the profile section and change your email address. Don’t forget to click on “Save” to upload your profile.

    30. What if I want to quit?
There are no obligations to maintain your Membership, you may quit at any time. If you cancel your account, you forfeit any balance accumulated below the minimum payout level. You also forfeit your referral network, although your referrals remain members. Of course, you can rejoin whenever you want but you will start out without any balance or referrals. To cancel your membership, you can send an email to cancelmembership@AGLOCO.com

If you don’t find the answer to your question above, please, send us an email at aglocoinfo@agloco.com.

What are the features of the Viewbar? How does it work?

We’ll address the Viewbar’s features from left-to right:

    • Options: Right-Clicking on the “AGLOCO” logo on the left-hand side of the Viewbar brings up several options. In addition to access to the AGLOCO website and your Account page,
      - Dock: You can choose to dock the Viewbar at the top or the bottom of the screen

      - Language: The Viewbar is currently available in both English and Chinese
      - Advanced Options: These include a place to put your proxy settings (if you access the internet through a proxy) and your auto-update settings.
    • Accrual Indicator: The second letter “o” in the AGLOCO logo tells you whether you are currently accumulating AGLOCO Hours. If it is green, you are. If the indicator is red, you are not currently accumulating hours (most likely because either you are not actively browsing the internet or because you have already reached your monthly maximum).
    • Ad space: The largest space on the Viewbar is for a text ad. If you see something interesting, click on the ad to check it out! The ad will open a new tab or browser window, so your current browser should not be interrupted.
    • Search: Conduct your internet searches using the toolbar. We have several search engines available, including Google, Yahoo, or Amazon.
      - To select your search engine: Click the logo on the left-hand side of the search field and a drop down menu of all available engines will appear
      - To search: Type your query in the search field and either hit “enter” on your keyboard or click the magnifying glass button.
    • Favorites and Tools: The “gear” button has tools for AGLOCO Members. Currently, the tools are simple, but this section of the Viewbar will be expanded over time.
      - Favorites: The Viewbar has all your favorite websites from Internet Explorer and Firefox, as well as a few AGLOCO-selected websites
      - Tools: Right now this enables you access to the Windows calculator and Windows calendar. This capability will be expanded with more tools in future Viewbar versions
    • Minimize: The down arrow on the right side of the Viewbar minimizes the Viewbar software. When minimized, the Viewbar will be off your screen and will not be monitoring your internet surfing. You will not accumulate hours for the time the Viewbar is minimized.

Ads aren’t showing up properly on my Viewbar. What do I do?

Try waiting a few minutes, as we may be conducting routine maintenance on the ad server or experiencing another temporary issue. If that doesn’t work, try restarting the Viewbar. To restart the Viewbar, right click on the Viewbar icon (a green “o”) in the Windows icon trey on the lower-right hand corner of your screen, and select “quit”. Then, right click again on the Viewbar logo and select “sign in”.

How do I log in as another Member from the same computer?

There should be an AGLOCO icon in the icon trey on the lower-right hand corner of your screen (a Green ‘o’ ). Right-click this icon and select “sign out”. Then, right click on the icon again and click “sign-in”. The sign-in screen will pop up and you can sign in as a new Member.

How do I get credit for using the Viewbar?

Simply surf the internet while the Viewbar is visible on the screen. The software calculates the time you spend actively surfing and tallies it. The current maximum is 5 hours/month. You also get credit for your referrals’ surfing.

How do I minimize the Viewbar and get it off my desktop?

Click the down arrow on the right side of the Viewbar. When minimized, the Viewbar will be off your screen and will not be monitoring your internet surfing. You will not accumulate hours for the time the Viewbar is minimized.

Get Paid To Surf The Net

    July 18, 2007 by Aki

I can’t believe it! AllAdvantage ( means Agloco ) is back! For those who don’t know, AllAdvantage was a site that paid you to surf the Internet. What’s more, it paid you when you refer other people to surf, and paid you again if those people referred other people – down four levels.AllAdvantage 2.0 comes with a new name, AGLOCO, which stands for A Global Community. This time, the founders are doing things a bit differently. They said that AllAdvantage failed the last time because the timing, and not the concept, was bad. They may be right, and there is certainly nothing wrong with trying again. If they can sign up as many people as they did last time, and the advertising market doesn’t implode, I say they will have a success on their hands.

    The AGLOCO Viewbar

    alladvantage2.jpg

The Viewbar that is installed at the bottom of the browser is back but instead of paying a flat fee per hour like the last time, it will give you a share of income the Viewbar earns. In addition, that income may be paid in stocks as well as cash. This avoids the mistake of paying out more than they make, which was what AllAdvantage did.

The Viewbar features privacy protection, spyware protection, phishing protection, member IM and voice communications, RSS feeds, broadcast communication, community tips and other functions.

Sharing income with users is nothing new. Tons of sites and many revenue sharing forums do that already. What is unique about AGLOCO is their multi-leveling marketing model.

    Network Marketing

    agloco1.jpg

When you run the AGLOCO Viewbar, AGLOCO will pay to you to surf the web (currently up to 5 hours/month). Once the five hours are up, you can turn the Viewbar off until next month. However, you also make money on every hour for people you referred when they surf, and income is made for every hour for people they referred down to 4 levels. There is no cap on how much you can make because of this.

    agloco2.jpg

According to the AGLOCO member calculator, if you sign up 10 people and those referrals sign up 5 people, and those sign up five all the way down the 4 four levels, you would earn 9,767.50 per month! However, before you start doing jumping jacks, that figure is not a dollar amount – it reflects earnings in both cash and stock of the company. The stock price has yet to be determined.

AGLOCO plans to be a 100% member owned company. The amount of shares you own is based on how many members you refer. The company will share advertising and affiliate revenues with its members. Company management will gets 10% of revenue as their fee for running the place. The remaining amount will then be distributed to company shareholders (the members). The amount you make is based on how many shares you own, which in turn is based on how many people you refer.

Before AllAdvantage died with the dot com crash, I signed up over 10,000 people and made over $25,000, so I know the concept does work. Will I be able to make $25,000 from AGLOCO? That remains to be seen but I’m looking forward to trying. This looks like another case study in the making!

Once you sign up you will be given a user ID. Use this ID to sign up other people. The easiest way to do that is the put the ID into the URL. For example. http://www.agloco.com/r/BBDG0405 is my URL. Just replace the BBBB0743 with your ID and you’ll get credit for all signs from your link.

You can sign up for AGLOCO here.

Take a look at companies like MySpace, Facebook, and YouTube who have become worth billions because other businesses realize that these social networks are generating huge advertising and marketing opportunities.

AGLOCO has asked a simple question:
“The users created the community, where’s their share of the profit?”

From that very question, AGLOCO set out to create the Internet’s first Economic Network by using the strength of social networks to directly benefit the Members who build the community.
Becoming a member of AGLOCO is as simple as completing a simple sign-up page (name, age, location and email address.). Once you’re a Member, you will be asked to then download the Viewbar™ software.

AGLOCO SCAM OR NOT SCAM ?

    July 18, 2007 by Aki

    AGLOCO SCAM ?

    Simmons Report: AGLOCO

    Analysis:

This analysis is centered around the amount of personal value an Agloco user could get, with a special focus on a user who is actively referring new users to AGLOCO. Material used included the AGLOCO website (membership agreement, privacy policy, FAQs and general information pages). management interviews, critical blog postings concerning Agloco, internet advertising and commerce data, valuations of other Internet communities and the business model economics of Google, Yahoo, MySpace, You Tube, etc.

    Conclusions:

The valuation conclusions are based on AGLOCO reaching two million users in a two year time span:

    • A user who has no referrals should receive ownership in AGLOCO worth on average about $150. (plus monthly cash distributions)

    • The average value of an AGLOCO user’s referral network should be $30 each in ownership shares plus the referrer’s share of monthly cash distribution.

    • The average AGLOCO direct referral should be worth in excess of $3,000 each (see example below for details)

    • The analysis also shows a range of monthly cash distributions of between $5 and $15 a month per user.

    • The AGLOCO business model looks theoretically sound – (assuming they get to a decent size quickly – at least 500,000 users within nine months to a year)

The cost of recruiting new users to Agloco can vary. For many users it is simply sending an email to friends or contacts – or talking to them directly. For others it is blog postings or website notices and for some users paid ads on search engines. The privacy and anti-spam policies of Agloco and the track record on these issues of Ray Everett-Church (AGLOCO’s Chief Privacy Officer) makes the risk of getting spam, pop ups and other trash as a user a non issue. In general, given the low level of work needed to recruit new users to AGLOCO and the zero cost in terms of money, the cost/benefit ratio of recruiting new users to AGLOCO seems to be highly favorable. Because there is no limit as to the number of referrals a user can recruit, the upper end on this opportunity could be high (which means it can be worth putting in the effort to promote actively). This analysis was done two weeks after Agloco launched and there have been user postings noting referral networks of 4,000 and 5,000 already. At $30 value each this would be $120,000 to $150,000 so far, which means AGLOCO could make some serious recruiting users a high return on their efforts.

      Referral Example:

    • A user recruits ten people (10 direct referrals) –
    • If on average, each direct referral recruits 3 new users (some will recruit many and some none, but the average is 3 for each level of your network) — Value of 10 referrals $300
    • The user would have 30 indirect users one person removed. – Value of 30 referrals $900
    • The user would have 90 indirect users two people removed — Value of 90 referrals $2,700
    • The user would have 270 indirect users three people removed — Value of 270 referrals $8,100
    • The user would have 810 indirect users four people removed – Value of 810 referrals $24,300
    • Total referrals the user would have in the network would be 1,210.

    • At an average value of $30 for each referral the total value would be $36,300

It should be noted that the AGLOCO referral system achieves two tasks:

    • Agloco saves all the costs of marketing its services to potential new users. This is sometimes a major cost many Internet companies face. Other network companies like MySpace, Skype and YouTube also achieve this goal of users telling users, but in those cases users do not benefit in the value created by the growth of the user base.
    • Users who help build the AGLOCO network are financially rewarded for doing so. Because most the value of network oriented companies is based on the size of the network, it isAGLOCO’s stated goal that the people building the network share in the value they help create.

    Detailed Analysis:

Business model: Three major aspects of the business were analyzed; the people who drive it, the revenues and the expenses.

    1. People
      • Management ability – – for a start up AGLOCO seems to be pretty good as it has combined experience with raw talent:
        • The raw talent – is in the form of current Stanford MBAs. Agloco is a revenue driven business model – passion and aggressiveness are good attributes to have for part of the team. The average age of a Stanford MBA graduate is 28 years old – these are not just passionate and aggressive, they come with a few years of experience behind them as well.
        • The experience – Agloco has some – it may need more. Jorgensen was CEO of AllAdvantage, Ray Everett-Church was the Chief Privacy Officer there and Sam Flax was the Chief Architect for technology at AllAdvantage. AllAdvantage grew to over 10 million users and over $30 million in first year revenues. A good fit for on point experience.
      • Management reliability – The reality of the internet is such that every new entity should be investigated from this perspective. Below, is why AGLOCO should not raise any Internet scam worries:
        • There are over 50 people listed on the about page of AGLOCO.
          • The ‘development team’ has eight Stanford MBA students – not the type of people who would risk their pedigrees and reputations.
          • The ‘development’ team includes two veterans Ray Everett-Church and Jim Jorgensen – both of who are well known enough to have Wikipedia bios.
          • The ‘contributors’ include a couple of easy to spot people like; Gil Penchina, CEO of Wikia, Zaw Thet, CEO of 4info and Valerie Williamson a VP the Open Source group OSTG plus a sprinkling of major firm law partners and venture capitalists – not scam types.
        • Press interviews – some of the founders have been interviewed by major bloggers (VentureBeat, John Chow, GigaOM, and Red Herring). AGLOCO’s management is out front and visible.
    2. Revenue sources– this is the core of the business model. Some revenue sources are very dependant on the size of the user base. Here are the major ones:
      • Search revenue – AGLOCO can become a significant source of search volume. Google gets 40% of its ad traffic from third parties (the biggest one being AOL whom Google pays an average of $0.10 per search). The average Internet user searches over 35 times a month. AGLOCO should be able to capture virtually all search revenue and its users are more likely to be active Internet types (given that the active users are the early adopters who will be the first to find AGLOCO’s proposition appealing ) – When AGLOCO is of sufficient market size, its search revenue should grow to between $30 and $50+ per user per year
      • Advertising – the AGLOCO toolbar software is stated to contain a thirty second targeted text ad:
        • The targeting is further defined as being related to the current site a user is on or based on past user behavior or demographic information. Agloco also has very granular location information with city and postal code for users. Agloco should be able to take advantage of Google, MSN or Yahoo’s ad engines immediately (AdSense, adCenter and ‘Panama’) and during the next two years add a local ad overlay.
        • AGLOCO’s available monthly ad inventory should be somewhere between 600 and 1,800 ads a month per user (1 ad per 30 seconds, 120 ads per hour and 600 ads per month given 5 hours or 1800 ads given the more likely scenario of 15 hours surfing per month). With 100% of these ads being available for ‘keyword’ targeting as it now exists. This is substantially more inventory than leaders Yahoo or AOL have and this will definitely increase the attractiveness of the AGLOCO user community for advertisers.

It is difficult to estimate what ad revenue per user will be two years from now. It should start low and grow substantially over time. A quick starting place for analysis might be a $10 to $25 run rate in this period and much higher later. Targeted keyword CPC rates vary dramatically with Google and Yahoo both averaging over $0.50 per click in search (non-search ads are substantially lower, but do not have AGLOCO multiple targeting.)

        • Commissions – Sales commissions (and affiliate fees) should be a substantial source of revenue for AGLOCO. Almost every online merchant pays them. Link Share and Commission Junction each have thousands of companies in affiliate programs. Sales commission varies from quite low 2% on some airline tickets to nearly 50% on some financial transactions, and is generally in the 10% to 15% range.. Spending per active Internet adult users (one on line in excess of five hours a month) is estimated at more than $2,000 a year – twice as much as the $1,000 overall online spending average.) . For valuation at the end of year two, an estimate between $50 to $150 per user in commissions was used
        • Distribution – The distribution of products and services may become the largest source of Agloco revenue. This revenue source is different than the sales commissions since Agloco states it would be a direct distribution source (or a direct signup source). There are four basic areas of distribution:
          • AGLOCO can distribute to its members products and services ranging from new credit cards to home loans and to computers or software. Credit card and loan revenue can vary from $50 to $500. Online software distribution should be a normal AGLOCO activity (for example backup software should earn at least AGLOCO $1 a month.)
          • Upgrades on paid-for or free software – This includes payments from companies like Adobe which will pay for each time a user upgrades free program like Flash or upgrades of paid for software like Norton anti-virus.
          • Referral fees of online communities – This includes payments for new active users. Examples include: eBay ($22), Skype (a % of anything spent), eFax ($10 -$50) –there are at least one hundred of these
          • Offline large buying group – AGLOCO can act as a large buying group. (Example; referral fees on car sales are anywhere from $200 to over $1000. Using a $400 average and a one-in-ten to one-in-twenty annual user participation rate (5% to 10%), then cars alone will be a $20 to $40 per year source of revenue for the entire user base. Similar but smaller sources exist in other products.
        • An annualized distribution revenue amount of $100 a year per user by the end of AGLOCO’s second year should be a reasonable estimate.

Total Revenue – With the above detailed analysis, the total revenue would be estimated to be between $200 and $300 per user – (annual revenue run rate at the end of year two). Below is a chart showing potential revenue growth per user by category over a two year period.

    3. Expenses – operating costs seem to be dominated by:
      • Servers and bandwidth – since most of the communications with users are coming from search company servers and ad network servers it would seem should be a relatively small amount.
      • Sales and business development – passionate MBAs etc –while expensive people, this should still be a low cost as a percentage of total revenue
      • Customer services – lots of users, lots of questions – AGLOCO has started by using teams in India, China and the Philippines. Most communication is email so language should not be a significant problem
      • Technology – should be much simpler than a Yahoo or Google as AGLOCO is not building much (a toolbar is a known and simple technology platform.)
      • General and administrative costs need to include processing user payments (PayPal and others make this cheaper) and the management company fee of 10%

A reasonable estimate two years out (assuming 2 to 3 million AGLOCO users) would be a 20% to 30% cost structure – as a % of gross revenue

    Valuation:

To make this a bit stable and understandable, the time for valuation chosen was the end of year two for AGLOCO (approximately December 2008) and with AGLOCO having two million or more active users at that time. Also the projected revenue was reduce from the $200 to $300 per user range to $100 (again to be conservative.)

    • Given market comparisons,; a growing community of two million users with revenue above $100 per user and heading toward $200, $300 or $400 per user and a profit margin of 70% prior to cash distributions to users should have a sizeable value, anywhere from $200 to $1,000 per user (depends on the rate of growth of users, rate of growth of per user revenues. With very little per user revenue Facebook valuation was near the $200 amount this summer. MySpace had very little revenue and was losing money when sold and YouTube was similar.

    • With a 15% to 20% net profit margin (after cash distributions to users), annual profits of $15 to $40 per user would justify a value of at least $300 per user.

AGLOCO is in the advertising and sale/distribution business – somewhat similar gross profits of Yahoo and Google. Yahoo and Google both have valuations exceeding 35 times earnings. A 35 times profit per user would value AGLOCO at $350 to$1,400 per user. Yahoo has a value of 6 times revenue and Google has a value of 16 times revenue. Even at the lower estimate of $100 of annualized revenue per user at the end of the second year, the corresponding value of AGLOCO would be $600 per user.

    • With a $300 per user valuation and 2 million users, AGLOCO would have a total valuation of $600 million. A good range to be in for a fairly new public company.
    • Per the AGLOCO website statements, about half of the AGLOCO ownership is given directly to active users and about half is given to the referrers who build up the network. With a $300 per user valuation the average each regular user would have been given $150 worth of ownership in AGLOCO (of course people who started earlier would have more than average and people who started later less.)).

    • That also means that the referrers would (on average) receive $150 of shares for each Agloco user – again with the early referrals providing more. There are five levels of referrals in the AGLOCO user referral system, so the $150 is split equally between five levels of referrers, $30 each.

  • This result is simple stated as: For each referral in an AGLOCO user’s total referral network, a person should receive $30 in AGLOCO ownership value (plus a share in the AGLOCO monthly cash distributions to all users.)
  • Since a user can really best affect their own personal referrals, figuring out the ‘potential’ value of each of those is important to understand.
    • Obviously if a user refers a new user and that second person does no recruiting then the total value of that new direct referral is only $30.
    • Conversely, if a user refers a very active AGLOCO recruiter who adds 1,000 new users then that new direct referral was worth $30,000.
    • To make some kind of estimate of value it is necessary to ‘guess’ an average referral rate. Looking at blogs about AGLOCO from users a conservative view would seem to be to choose an average of three new referrals every new user.
    • Using three referrals at each level results in each direct referral resulting in 120 new users. Using the $30 valuation for each referral the total value for the 120 is $3,600; plus $30 for the direct user for a total value of $3,630.
  • While not a focus of this analysis, a quick calculation of the monthly distributions might be estimated. (This part was added at the request of some early reviewers of this report:
    • Using the $200 per user gross revenue and the 60% payout percentage then the annual run rate would be $120 (about $10 per month. This would be in addition to the ownership received). A $100 revenue rate would yield about $5 a month and $300 would yield about $15.
  • This valuation analysis has a couple of caveats in it.
    • Obviously, eventually all the users who want to join an entity like AGLOCO will be exhausted so referring will not be very significant and new direct referrals will not result in 100 total new user. At that point, direct referrals would not be so valuable (but with more than 100,000,000 adult US Internet users alone, getting to two million in the US should not hit any limits in the next two years).
    • Different countries users probably have different revenue potentials and thus different valuations (The Agloco site states that Agloco has the ability to change distribution rates by individual country if needed.) Report Source
  • Final Conclusion: Agloco Is Not A Scam

AGLOCO – Get Paid To Surf

    agloco

For those who were online in 1999, you may remember AllAdvantage a Get paid to surf program. Basically, by displaying the AllAdvantage toolbar while you surfed, you got paid. And when you referred people to the program and they surfed, you got paid. It worked VERY well, except that the management team at the company could not handle the economic recession period from those times.

Don’t get me wrong. I earned big time with this program. And it was incredibly viral.

A little bite of a background will make u understand what I say.

AllAdvantage was launched on March 31, 1999, by its four founders Jim Jorgensen, Johannes Pohle, Carl Anderson, and Oliver Brock. During its nearly 2 years of operation, it raised nearly $200 Million in venture capital and grew to more than 10 million members in its first 18 months of operation.

By the time it closed its doors, the company had paid out over $120 million to its members.

Since then, I’ve been waiting for a similar opportunity to arrive. It just has!

    Here’s the deal.

Agloco promises to pay you to do what you normfriends about it, you both will earn money. Simple…

    How Agloco Works

    July 18, 2007 by Aki

Not sure how Agloco works? Have a look at the graphic below:
    how agloco works

AGLOCO makes money for its Members in many ways:

Search: Every time you use the Viewbar™ to do an Internet
search, AGLOCO earns money from the search engine providers. (For example,
Google pays as much as $0.10 on average for each search that is directed to its
    search engine.)

Advertising: The Viewbar™ itself displays ads that are
targeted based upon the websites you’re visiting. When you click on an ad and
make a purchase, AGLOCO receives a referral fee, which we pass on to our Members.
(Please note: Individual members do not receive any compensation for clicking on
ads in the Viewbar™, and the Viewbar™ can detect if someone is clicking ads
    in a fraudulent manner.)
Transaction commissions: Many major retailers pay
commissions when you refer customers who make a purchase. AGLOCO collects that
commission and passes it on to our members. (For example, Amazon pays an 8.5%
commission to most websites who refer customers, and has cut deals for even
larger percentages. The bigger the AGLOCO community, the better commission we
    can negotiate for our Members.)
Software distribution: Numerous software companies pay
websites to encourage the download of new software releases (for example,
Adobe’s Flash and Acrobat Reader software), and trial versions of new programs.
AGLOCO members not only get access to the latest and coolest software, they get
    paid for it.

Service distribution: Many online service providers will
look to the AGLOCO community as a source of new and active users for their
services. (For example, eBay, Skype, and PayPal, among others, all pay fees to
people who help them recruit new active users to their services
Product distribution: When Members agree to use a product,
such as cell phones, high-tech gadgets, office supplies, new credit cards or
financial services, AGLOCO can collect referral fees. Some companies even offer
    special rebate and cash-back programs.

AGLOCO Members make money in four ways.
